The word "conklab" is a combination of Concise and Laboratory, signifying the minimalistic aesthetics and the experimental spirit of garment design that the brand promotes.

Before starting Conklab, the founder was a well-known fashion buyer in Japan. He also interned at Stussy in the early days. All these years of experience in the fashion industry have accumulated to become the cornerstone of the founding Conklab.
