At the edge of cliffs, beside ravines, and at the foot of mountains, there often grow nameless saplings. They are small in stature with green leaves. Some stand defiantly in the crevices of cliffs, others stand resiliently on the ridges of ravines, and still others lie tenaciously among the rocks at the mountain’s base, waiting to grow. They yearn for growth, and they will one day split cliffs, bridge ravines, and crush rocks—just like us. Unremarkable, unnoticed, but we exist with stubbornness, strength, and resilience. We truly represent life, appreciating our own uprightness, enjoying the fierce storms, and experiencing growth.
