How to Spot a Fake FACEONLAB

Popular designs get copied, and copies are often sold using our own product photos. This page shows what genuine FACEONLAB looks like, so you can tell the difference.

What genuine FACEONLAB looks like

FACEONLAB leans on metal hardware rather than a visible woven label. Here is what we see on the pieces we have photographed.

The engraved sleeve plaque

Brushed-silver rectangular plaque stitched to a jacket sleeve, engraved Crazy Gentleman, a small crouching-figure emblem, FACEON LAB and Liminality Space
Our Camo Leopard Ripped Stand Collar Jacket has a separate brushed-silver plaque near the cuff, stitched on through holes at each corner and engraved "Crazy Gentleman", a small crouching-figure emblem, "FACEON LAB" and "Liminality Space".

Crest cuff buttons

Row of four silver cuff buttons embossed with a crest design beside a metal plaque on a blazer sleeve
Our Wool-Blend Uniform Blazer has a row of four silver cuff buttons embossed with a crest design, next to the same engraved plaque.

The rhinestone gothic logo

Large FACEON logo in spiky gothic letters set in rhinestones across the upper back of a jacket
Our Diamond LOGO Back Mandarin Collar Jacket has a large "FACEON" in spiky gothic letters, set in rhinestones across the upper back.

The woven zip tie

Striped necktie with a black stripe woven with FACEON LAB in white capitals and a small crouching-figure emblem
Our Slanted Striped Zip Tie has a black woven stripe with "FACEON LAB" in white capitals followed by the small crouching-figure emblem.

Signs of a copy

  • A big "sale" against a "was" price that is higher than the piece has ever sold for.
  • Our product photos and descriptions, shown under a different shop name.
  • A missing sleeve plaque on a jacket or blazer that should have one, or the plaque wording printed flat on the fabric instead of engraved on metal.
  • Plain, generic buttons where the genuine blazers have embossed silver crest buttons.
  • A "FACEON" back logo that is printed or glitter vinyl rather than set rhinestones, or in a plain font instead of spiky gothic letters.
