Is PROJECTISR Legit?

Official PROJECTISR Information

Is PROJECTISR Legit?

Yes. PROJECTISR is an official online streetwear store for people who look at clothing beyond the first image: the cut, the fabric weight, the construction, the hardware, and the way a piece holds its attitude after repeated wear. Since 2018, PROJECTISR has followed one clear belief: Streetwear Deserves Better Quality.

What Is PROJECTISR?

PROJECTISR is a platform, a laboratory, a window, and a retailer of premium independent designer apparel. We are not built as a fast fashion stop. We are built for people who want streetwear with a stronger standard behind it.

Our selection focuses on independent designers, original streetwear, modern silhouettes, and clothing that works like usable art: pieces that can be worn, styled, moved in, and still carry a clear visual point of view.

To us, good streetwear should not ask customers to choose between design and quality. A piece can look sharp, feel expressive, and still be reviewed for fabric, fit, construction, and durability before it reaches the wardrobe.

01
Independent Design

We focus on designer-led streetwear with an original point of view, rather than ordinary mass-market pieces with no lasting identity.

02
Quality Over Quantity

PROJECTISR believes a smaller wardrobe of stronger pieces carries more meaning than a closet full of clothing that loses its shape, comfort, or attitude too quickly.

03
Streetwear With Standards

Every product listed on PROJECTISR is expected to answer the same question: does the design deserve the quality, and does the quality support the design?

The 47-Point Standard Behind PROJECTISR

At PROJECTISR, quality is not added after a design looks good. It begins before a piece is allowed into the store. We look at the garment as something made to be worn, moved in, washed, styled, and kept: the cut, the fabric, the handfeel, the seams, the hardware, the finish, the sizing, the packaging, and the way it may hold up in daily life.

The 47 points below are the public version of that review. They are not decorative rules written for display. They are the questions behind each selection: Is the design original? Does the fabric feel right? Are the details clean? Will the zipper, button, print, seam, and shape survive more than a product photo? This is what “Streetwear Deserves Better Quality” means at PROJECTISR, a standard before selection, not an excuse after purchase.

Before It Reaches the Store
Each point is small on its own, but together they decide whether a garment deserves to be listed. The review begins with design, then moves through material, construction, and reliability — the parts customers eventually feel in the fit, the fabric, the seams, and the way the piece holds up over time.
01 Design
02 Fabric / Materials
03 Construction
04 Reliability
Design Originality, visual direction, store alignment, and whether the design has a clear reason to exist.
  1. Counterfeits, knockoffs, and non-original designs are not accepted.
  2. Designs that rely on sexism, racism, or extremist symbols are avoided.
  3. Each design is reviewed and approved by at least two designers.
  4. Text-based designs are checked for spelling, unless the error is intentionally part of the design.
  5. The design must align with PROJECTISR’s overall streetwear direction.
  6. If a garment carries a specific idea, scene, or concept from the designer, that meaning may be reflected in the product description.
  7. The design, pattern, and fabric should work together rather than feel randomly assembled.
Fabric / Materials Comfort, safety, surface quality, hardware, colorfastness, shrinkage control, and material transparency.
  1. When industry metrics conflict with customer comfort, customer experience comes first.
  2. Harmful substances are not allowed.
  3. Fabric should feel comfortable against bare skin.
  4. Linen is currently excluded from the clothing selection.
  5. Metal parts, including zippers, buttons, and buckles, should be anti-oxidized or non-rusting.
  6. Hardware should be free from sharp edges, burrs, or visible defects that affect wear.
  7. Fabrics with better stretch and elasticity are preferred when they improve comfort.
  8. Wrinkle-resistant fabrics are preferred where suitable.
  9. Eco-conscious materials are preferred when they meet the product’s design and wear requirements.
  10. Colorfastness should remain stable through the first three washes.
  11. Printed surfaces should be evenly coated, firmly attached, and free of residue.
  12. Pre-washed fabrics are preferred to reduce major shrinkage after the first wash, except for dry-clean items and knitwear.
  13. Reused stuffing is not accepted in listed products.
Construction / Production Quality The garment is checked through seams, stitching, closure alignment, embroidery, ironing, packaging, and finishing details.
  1. Seams and stitches should be clean and consistent.
  2. Skipped stitches, loose seams, and frequent thread openings are not accepted.
  3. Broken threads are not allowed.
  4. Embroidery should be smooth, with backing paper or lining removed where required.
  5. Factory smell should be limited and should reduce after washing, with PVC products as a material-based exception.
  6. No more than three loose or hanging threads should be found on a product.
  7. Products should be free from stains such as grease, pen marks, rust, color marks, or watermarks.
  8. Leather surfaces should not have pits, holes, or scratches that affect appearance or function.
  9. Finished garment size should stay within the designed specification, with a tolerance of about 1.5 cm.
  10. Clothing should be ironed flat before being offered.
  11. Ironing should be controlled to avoid dead pleats, scorch marks, or damage to the fabric.
  12. Thread type and color should match the fabric unless a special design requires contrast.
  13. Frayed, fuzzy, ragged, or serrated edges are not accepted unless they are intentional design details.
  14. Puckering at seam joints is not accepted unless it is part of the design.
  15. Closures should be aligned correctly.
  16. Collars and lapels should sit smoothly unless the garment is intentionally designed otherwise.
  17. Plaid patterns should match at the seams unless the design intentionally breaks alignment.
  18. Buttonholes should keep consistent opening sizes.
  19. Shading differences between parts of the same garment should not be visually distracting.
  20. Products must be properly packaged, and materials must be listed in the product description.
Reliability The final check asks whether the garment can hold up to washing, stretching, pulling, repeated use, and warehouse sampling.
  1. Washable clothing should not shrink more than 5% after the first wash.
  2. Straps and elastic parts may be stretch-tested for pulling and recovery.
  3. Zippers and buttons may be pull-tested to check strength.
  4. Accessories such as buttons or zippers may be tested through repeated use.
  5. PROJECTISR tags should be attached to clothing products.
  6. Clothing is sampled before entering the warehouse.

A Better Piece Should Also Mean a Better Standard

PROJECTISR’s idea of quality does not stop at the surface of a garment. A better piece should last longer, reduce careless consumption, and carry a more responsible relationship with the world around it.

Whenever possible, we prioritize eco-conscious materials and long-lasting construction. Through our sustainability mission, PROJECTISR plants one tree for every order placed, supporting environmental restoration and communities beyond fashion.
